I undertook my first wedding commission in 2000 for a studio in Bolton who was willing to take on a trainee. In 2006 I became a member of the Master Photographers Association, submitting a selection of my work to be judged by a panel of photographers, which has resulted in me successfully gaining my Licentiateship qualification. After this I finally took the plunge and began advertising for myself. I am based in Horwich, working from home doing wedding and location portraits whilst also undertaking work for a top studio in Bolton.

I specialise in fun and relaxed photography believing this to be the best way to truly capture the real character of the person. Taking on only one wedding on any day ensures I have my full attention focused on yourselves and am available for as much of the day as you wish. I appreciate that todays couples are looking for more than just the standard group shots and therefore I will take a mixture of reportage and formal photos to try to capture as much of the love, fun and happiness of your special day as possible. I consider it a great honour when a couple choose me to photograph the biggest day of their lives.

Over the years I have covered weddings at Farrington Lodge in Leyland, Armathwaite Hall in Keswick, Stanley House at Mellor, Salmesbury Hall, Scaitcliffe Hall, Shrigley Hall, Shaw Hill Golf Club, Ridgmont House in Horwich, Kilhey Court at Standish, Worsley Court House at Worsley, Mere Hall in Bolton, Smithills Hall and Coaching House in Bolton, Egerton House, The Last Drop in Bolton, Peckforton Castle near Crewe, The Reebok in Horwich and Rivington Barn in Rivington.
